WebNov 13, 2024 · Level 1 6 points M1 Pro Macbook Pro RAM Issues So I recently purchased the 14-in M1 Pro with the 10-core CPU, 14-core GPU, 16-core NE, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD. The computer runs near perfect, slowing down only on certain app startups, and one other issue that I have had using Chrome. WebOver the past two days, I’ve been having this weird issue where my screen locks up, except that my keypad and mouse still scroll. I just can’t click anything, and force quitting doesn’t work. The only way to fix it (that I know) is to completely restart the machine. I’m running an M1 Pro and just basic apps so this shouldn’t be happening.
